For custom orders, a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total cost is required before the design process can begin. Deposits are to ensure the Client’s place in the Designer’s production schedule. The deposit will go towards the order total. The remaining balance is due upon approval of final proof(s). Payments are accepted via credit/debit card, Venmo, or Paypal. Sales tax is applicable to Hawaii residents at 4.712%.

Semi-custom/pre-made designs will take 1-2 weeks. For custom designs, turnaround time ranges from 3-12 weeks from the date the deposit is submitted, depending on the design style and scope of your order. Small orders will be completed faster than large orders (e.g., a single invitation design vs. an invitation suite design). It is recommended to book a custom order as early as possible to secure a place in the production schedule. Custom orders needed sooner than 6 weeks or less are considered rush orders and are accepted if the Designer’s schedule permits. Rush orders will incur a 20% fee.

Shipping cost is calculated based on the destination, quantity, and weight of the final package. All orders within the United States are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2-3 business days to be delivered. Please contact the Designer for shipping upgrade availability and quote. Designs by April Heidi is not responsible for 1) any shipping delays due to weather related conditions and unforeseen events, or 2) any lost or stolen packages after delivery has been made.

For invitations and coordinating stationery, it is highly recommended to order at least 10% more than the Client thinks is needed. The Client should account for wrong addresses, last minute guests, keepsakes, and their photographer. If additional stationery is needed once the Client’s order is complete, the Client will need to order the minimum quantity (25).

Returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted for custom digital/printed stationery due to the nature of personalization and customization. These items are created on a per order basis and cannot be resold. Custom digital/printed stationery includes, but is not limited to, save the dates, invitations, response cards, insert cards, envelopes, enclosures, programs, menus, table numbers, place cards, and thank you cards. Returns on items that are blank, non-personalized, and non-customized are accepted.

The Client should review proof(s) very carefully for spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors. The Designer is not responsible for any errors once the final proof has been approved. The Designer makes every effort to review and proof all orders.

All computer monitors display color differently. Colors may vary slightly from that seen on the monitor. Paper type and colors may also affect printed colors. It is not possible to guarantee the image the Client sees is an accurate representation of how it will look once printed.

All content, including but not limited to images/pictures, preliminary and final product designs, arrangement of graphics and typography, text, quotes, are and remain the exclusive property of Designs by April Heidi.  Our intellectual property is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our intellectual property may not be used or modified in part or in whole. Intellectual property ownership of third party materials remains with those third party vendors. In the event that the Client provides the Designer with text or images for product designs, the Client retains ownership; however, the Designer is not responsible for any intellectual property infringements arising out of use of client content in our products.

The Designer shall have the right to document, photograph or otherwise record all completed designs or installations of products, and to reproduce, publish and display such documentation, photographs or records for the Designer’s promotional purposes.

Designs by April Heidi is not responsible for damage to stationery or packaging while in transit.
